Intelligent Design

Central to our thought, and ubiquitous among classical philosophies of beauty, is the idea that design which aligns with “the good” is not merely about creating space but about crafting environments that reflect the beauty inherent to nature, it’s symmetries and harmonious proportions.

This approach to design has begun to be affirmed by technologies previously used solely in the world of advertising and mercantile persuasion. The overdue development of these technologies’ adoption in the realm of design has improved our ability to understand how people respond psychologically and physiologically to their natural and built surroundings.

These new insights tell us that what we find pleasing or beautiful is not simply a matter of taste but a function of the evolutionary conditioning naturally emergent from the interaction between the physical facts of our anatomy and the environment with which our cognitive structures developed in accordance.
